Contactless Escape Rooms!
From the moment you walk in the door to the moment you leave the building, you will not be in the same room with anyone outside the group you come with. Unless our staff determine that it is for some reason necessary to act otherwise, they will stay in a separate part of the building and communicate with you through videos and an intercom system. The goal is: you come with your bubble, and we leave your bubble intact!
When all members of your group have arrived, you will ring the doorbell at our front door (on Hawthorne) to be given remote access to the building. Follow the signs toward the lobby where you will receive further instructions by video message from The Mad Genius! Please arrive between 10 and 15 minutes before your game time. You will not be let in to the building prior to 15 minutes in advance and we will not be able to delay your game start time if members of your group are running late. Thank you for helping us stick to our schedule to ensure everyone's safety and comfort!
Fewer games, all private games
You will never be paired with another group- regardless of how many players you have, all bookings are private. We are offering fewer games each day with more time in between for cleaning.
Our amazing staff are cleaning both our escape rooms and our common areas (lobby, bathroom, hallways) between each group. We use a range of cleaning products and disinfectants including Lysol disinfectant spray and Lysol toilet bowl cleaner and follow a cleaning and disinfecting plan based on current guidance from the CDC. We pay most attention to high-touch surfaces including doorknobs, light switches, and of course- locks! We have portable air purifiers with HEPA filters in our game rooms and in our lobby.
All players are required to wear a face covering that covers their nose and mouth the entire time they are in the building. Disposable face masks are available if you forget yours.
Each member of your party will be asked to sign a waiver upon arrival, confirming that you understand the risks of participating in the activity. Participating in indoor entertainment activities carries with it the risk of contracting or transmitting viruses, including COVID-19, regardless of mitigating measures put in place to decrease this risk.
You will each be asked to confirm that you are not experiencing any symptoms of illness and that you haven't been recently exposed to COVID-19. If you or another player in your group is experiencing any symptoms or signs of illness, please contact us at email@example.com and we will happily reschedule your game for another time. We kindly ask that you do not attend your game if you are feeling unwell or if you have any reason to believe you have been exposed to COVID-19. If a member of your group is unwell or has been exposed to COVID-19, and you are unable to reschedule your game for another date, we will issue a refund for your game.
